Aimetis appoints new regional sales manager for Brazil
Aimetis, a provider in intelligent video management software, announced that it has increased its presence in Brazil to drive growth and support in that region.

Gabriel Furtado has moved into the role of Regional Sales Manager for South America, responsible for the execution of Aimetis’ sales initiatives and strategies in the region, now including Brazil.

Furtado brings more than ten years of experience in the security industry and has been a strong force for Aimetis for nearly two years. He previously held positions with Anixter and Siemens. In addition to his sales background, Furtado has worked as a product engineer, product manager, and technical column writer.

“I’m proud to be part of the Aimetis team. We can leverage the tremendous Aimetis product line to take advantage of the opportunity for growth in South America,” said Furtado.

“There’s a big opportunity in South America,” said David Almasi, Vice President of Global Sales at Aimetis. “The Regional Sales Manager role perfectly aligns with the Aimetis vision to continue to grow in South America, improving our existing support infrastructure. It’s a strategically important region and we’re fully committed to expanding and building strong relationships with new and existing partners.”

Aimetis also plans to grow the Brazilian regional team with the addition of a Field Sales Engineer in the fourth quarter, which will help fill the technical needs of the market.
