Cross Match Technologies announced that it has completed the realignment of its global sales team; adding several seasoned sales leaders and senior account managers to its ranks at a time of rapid growth opportunities.

Calamia joins as VP, global services and is responsible for developing and growing the Cross Match services portfolio. He has 15 years of sales and operational leadership experience, having worked with USIS, the largest provider of background investigations for the federal government.

O'Connor joins as director, federal, state, and local law enforcement, and will be further developing Cross Match's channel strategy to accelerate growth and improve market penetration of hardware, software, and services solutions.

Tellex has been promoted to director, sales engineering from her previous role as director of software development. Tellex is responsible for global coordination of customer facing, pre-sales technical resources and maintaining an effective and productive “critical link” between sales and engineering resources.

Belen joins as senior account manager focused on the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Previously with Oracle Corporation and L1 Identity Solutions, he has a strong history of selling to, and managing, DHS and Department of Defense accounts.

Merrill joins as senior account manager focused on the Department of Defense. He previously worked with FLIR Systems as a business development manager for U.S. Army and USSOCOM programs and with EMC as an enterprise sales account manager (U.S. Navy).

Russ Caldwell, Regional Sales Manager for the North Central United States
OnSSI has named Russ Caldwell as Regional Sales Manager for the North Central United States. Mr. Caldwell will manage key relationships in the North Central U.S. region, including the certified dealer channel, distribution and key technology partners. He will also focus on architect and engineering (A&E) firms and end-user relationships, and coordinate product demonstrations and territory events in North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Minnesota and northern Illinois. In his previous work as a manufacturer's rep, Mr. Caldwell was influential in attaining the OnSSI product line.

Pavel Zhorin, Regional Sales Director for Russia and CIS
Avigilon announced its continuing global expansion into the fast-growing surveillance market of Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) with the appointment of Pavel Zhorin, regional sales director.

Pavel Zhorin joined Avigilon as regional sales director for Russia and CIS. He is an experienced sales professional with IT and software companies, Zhorin will be responsible for creating new growth opportunities in Russia and CIS. Zhorin joins Avigilon from Mobotix where he served as the business development manager for Russia and CIS. There he tripled the business in a short 18 months.

Raytec have recently promoted both Steven Carrell and Amy Sladdin to Regional Sales Managers. The two new positions see Carrell and Sladdin responsible for business development and new market penetration in key territories, whilst supporting existing customers. In their new roles, Carrell and Sladdin will identify new opportunities to deliver energy saving LED lighting solutions not only for CCTV and security but for vertical markets such as hazardous area, marine, transport and general area lighting. Both Carrell and Sladdin deliver the highest levels of training and customer support, delivering educational seminars and workshops at a number of exhibitions and partner events worldwide.

Mark Scaparro, Senior VP Global Sales & Marketing for the Security Division
Rosslare Security Products is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Mark Scaparro to the position of Senior VP Global Sales & Marketing for the Security Division of Rosslare. In his position, Mr. Scaparro will be responsible for Rosslare's global sales and marketing efforts with a focus on revenue growth, profitability, and expanding Rosslare's brand recognition.

Prior to joining Rosslare, Mr. Scaparro held a succession of senior positions in sales, marketing, and channel management. Mr. Scaparro spent six years with Securitas (Pinkerton Systems Integration) as VP of Sales and Marketing and subsequently ten years at HID Global, starting as Executive VP of Worldwide Sales and Marketing overseeing Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Product Management, and Embedded Technologies.

Stefano Torri, European Sales Director
VideoIQ announced the addition of Dr. Stefano Torri to its sales team in the position of European sales director. In this role, Torri will be responsible for managing all of Europe, working closely with regional partners already in place, and recruiting new channel partners to drive sales and distribution of VideoIQ's line of intelligent all-in-one video surveillance systems, including iCVR-HD cameras, iCVR dome cameras, iCVR encoders, and the iCST line of streaming cameras and encoders

Torri comes to VideoIQ with more than 20 years of extensive channel sales management experience in the IT and physical security/video-surveillance markets. Based near Milan, Italy he will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with distributors, system integrators, resellers and end-users throughout Europe. He joins VideoIQ from Mobotix AG, where he was the business development director for Southeast Europe.
