Revenue for financial year ending Dec. 31st 2010 accounted for US$95 million, more than 20 percent up on the previous year. It employs more than 650 people globally.

EverFocus launched a HD-CCTV solution delivering 720p/1080i resolution HD images through standard coaxial cable, which has proved popular in the analog-dominated surveillance market of the U.K. EverFocus has recently extended its HD-CCTV range to include three new hybrid HD-CCTV DVRs and four HD-CCTV cameras.

EverFocus is well positioned for growth in demand for IP with an expanding range of network cameras. Six new 2-megapixel network cameras, offering either 720p or 1080p HD resolution were also launched last month. All these HD network cameras are ONVIF- and PSIA-compliant, offering two-way audio and all non-compact cameras can be powered via PoE. It also unveiled nine mobile analog cameras and three mobile DVRs for mobile vehicular surveillance.

EverFocus is looking to accelerate its growth in the market through a stronger focus on providing complete ‘plug and play' systems to meet specific market needs.

"EverFocus provides HD systems either with HD-CCTV via existing coaxial or megapixel IP via network; the dual approach helps, particularly in traditional CCTV-dominated markets like the U.K.," said James Weng, President of EverFocus Electronics. "But we are focusing harder on building whole surveillance systems designed for specific market applications. We aim to be a value-added manufacturer which installers and integrators can go to for security systems which can be configured easily to meet specific customer needs."
