Luminite Electronics, manufacturer of a wide range of wireless security solutions, has launched a new addition to their popular wireless Fire Alert range.
ALERTEX FIRE ALERTS already provide construction sites with a clear visual and audible alert to fire as required by HSE Fire Safety Guidelines. All units in the range are battery powered and boast a long transmission range of up to 1km, line of sight. Units can also be powered by 12v DC. Each unit acts as a repeater to ensure that even the most challenging of sites is covered in the event of a fire.
The new addition combines a Fire Alarm button with a First Aid button. When the Fire button is pressed, all units on site will play the selected default message or alarm and the IP Bridge will identify which unit was activated. When the First Aid button is pressed only the activated unit will sound a default message to indicate notification has been sent to approved personnel via the IP Bridge. When the alert is cancelled via the IP Bridge a new message such as an all-clear will play.
The IP Bridge allows the system to be locally monitored or integrated with third party monitoring platforms such as Webeye.
