The VKEPS21000 extender includes a host unit and a remote unit which are connected by standard UTP CAT5 cable. The host unit receives one channel VGA video and one pair of PS2 keyboard and mouse signals from the PC through combined cable using DVI interface. It provides one local VGA, KM outputs and one channel UTP output for transmission. The unit is powered through USB.
On the remote side, the remote unit receives one channel of UTP signal, and provides one port VGA output and one set of PS2 outputs for keyboard and mouse. The video quality can be adjusted manually with the built-in brightness and contrast adjustors with a resolution of up to 1600x1200 @ 60Hz for 500ft / 150m.
