Hirsch Identity and Access Management System (IAMS)
* Authenticate and manage identities: Collect identification documents and biometrics, link to background check services, and obtain a certificate from the Certificate Authority (CA). Specialized workflow software manages the process and guides you through best practices that help ensure compliance, privacy and security
* Issue smart cards (or other tokens): Encode (write data to the chip) smart cards with user data including fingerprints or other biometrics if desired. Print employee badges utilizing anti-counterfeit and anti-tamper features. Choose from a variety of smart card and token types including MIFARE, DESFire, PIV and TWIC
* Enroll/register smart cards: Hirsch's Quick Credential Converter (QCC) enrolls the new smart card's information into the access control system without any typing, converts the access privileges from the old card to new, and deactivates old card...all in just a few mouse clicks
* Control and track access: Use the same card for both physical (building) and logical (PC/network) access. Link to the HR system to instantly add new employees and delete terminated ones. Set Velocity to periodically check the validity of all your employees' certificates (Velocity will use the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) to poll the Certificate Revocation List (CRL) or Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP)), so you can disable a credential immediately if warranted when you receive critical third-party information.) Choose from numerous Hirsch smart card readers including the "RUU" (as in, "Are You You?") Verification Station which validates the card, PIN code, fingerprint and digital certificate.
