VUpoint can upgrade RISCO Group’s intrusion systems to support live video verification in response to intrusion and safety triggers

RISCO Group, a leading provider of integrated security solutions has released VUpoint, their revolutionary, innovative live video verification solution that seamlessly integrates within their security systems to provide a comprehensive video enabled intrusion and safety solution.

VUpoint utilizes IP cameras and cloud connectivity to provide video clips of up to 30 seconds length and/or snapshots in response to an alarm trigger from an intrusion or safety alert in addition to providing unlimited real-time video on demand. The video clips and streaming video snapshots can be viewed by users via RISCO’s upgraded iRISCO smartphone app, enabling them to determine if the alarm poses a real threat, or is a false alarm. The app also includes a direct line to call the local police station or the security service provider should the footage reveal an intrusion, offering RISCO Group customers and central monitoring stations an unprecedented level of security and control.
