Intel Skylake / Kaby Lake Based 1U Rackmount Server with Hot-swap Large Storage and Supreme Computing Power

Quanmax is pleased to announce the release of a new 1U rackmount server, named RAK-100 Series, powered by 6th / 7th generation Intel? Skylake / Kaby Lake processors. The server is suitable to enterprises or data centers looking for a platform with both large storage capacity and high computing capability for big data analysis or processing applications.
Compact 1U Form Factor
First of all, RAK-100 Series is enclosed within a highly compact 1U rackmount chassis and allows users to optimize deployment in the rack environment. With two front handles on both sides, users can easily slide the unit in and out of the rack when installation or maintenance.
Hot-swap Large Storage
As a large storage tank, RAK-100 Series has four hot-swap 3.5" HDD / SSD Drive Bays on the front I/O panel, which enables fast non-disruptive drive installation and removal without having to power down the server nor to dismantle the chassis. In addition, each drive bay supports SATA 3.0 interface which features double data transfer rate and higher priority in system resource processing and management.
Flexible Expansion
In addition to two mSATA/mPCIe combo sockets (only mPCIe for some models) reserved for supporting embedded SSDs or functional modules, RAK-100 Series has two PCIex8 add-on card slots accessible on the rear panel for flexible and easy expansion for specific applications. In general, PCIe SSD is a popular option in server segment to achieve larger available capacities and optimized performance. Sometimes, a network interface card is an option to ensure maximum network redundancy.
Outstanding Processing Performance
In some applications, such as Cloud data center, surveillance, process control or other high-end enterprise class applications, the server not only functions as a storage unit but also has to deal with a huge number of data, of which most are usually images or videos, for further identification or analysis.
