QNAP and Brickcom Announce Cooperation to Provide World-Class Network Surveillance Solutions

The integration of Brickcom cameras and video server with QNAP’s NVR solutions offers the market a new alternative to IP surveillance viewing and storage.

Brickcom Corporation, a leading provider of wired and wireless IP surveillance solutions, announces the integration their full line of full feature IP cameras and video server with the entire lineup of VioStor network video recorder (NVR) solutions from QNAP Security, the premium Linux-based and PC-less NVR solution provider. In addition to the 16 models already supported, QNAP VioStor NVR will now support Brickcom’s 1.3 megapixel cameras and outdoor Speed Dome OSD-040 40x camera with an upgrade to the version 3.3.1 of the VioStor NVR firmware released at the beginning of February.
QNAP’s VioStor NVR Series are standalone surveillance systems designed to provide professional IP-based monitoring and video recording. The Linux-based VioStor NVR supports PC-less quick configuration, monitoring of IP cameras, and video playback on a high-definition VGA monitor or TV. Other advanced features include multi-server monitoring (up to 128 channels), easy data search by Intelligent Video Analytics (IVA), generic IP camera integration, digital watermarking, advanced event management, email and SMS alert, and advanced RAID with hot-swappable hard drives design.
Brickcom offers a full range of indoor and outdoor megapixel IP network cameras which can be combined with QNAP VioStor NVR Series to create a customized surveillance solution to meet the security needs of small and medium-sized businesses and enterprises. The Brickcom IP cameras and video server are embedded with a high performance image sensor and CPU that supports H.264, MPEG-4, and MJPEG codec compression to provide high resolution, real-time video. With a wide range of features including Power over Ethernet, two-way audio support, and a DI/DO terminal for external alarms and sensors, Brickcom products are designed to incorporate the best IP features while offering a user-friendly design. The dual-band wireless video server WVS-01A, Cube WCB-100Ap, Fixed Box WFB-100Ap, and Bullet WOB-100Ap cameras offer a cost-effective solution for applications where cabling is difficult or costly to install.
“We are pleased to cooperate with Brickcom for providing high quality network surveillance solutions for a broad range of security applications. With the support for multi-channel monitoring, H.264/megapixel recording, playback, mass storage capacity, and abundant professional surveillance features, the VioStor NVR Series is the perfect solution to work with Brickcom megapixel IP network cameras,” said Jacky Cheng, Sales Manager of QNAP Security.
“The integration of Brickcom cameras with QNAP’s NVR solutions offers the market a new alternative to IP surveillance viewing and storage.
