Rosslare’s Multi-Smart™ Secure Reader is designed for modern access control environments that require advanced security, flexible credential support, and seamless migration from legacy technologies. Supporting MIFARE DESFire® EV1, EV2, and EV3, the reader provides advanced encryption, secure on-card data storage, and protection against cloning and credential fraud.
In addition to DESFire technology, the reader supports MIFARE Classic® EV1 Sector Read, enabling the use of encrypted card data instead of simple CSN reading.
The reader supports 13.56 MHz smart cards, 125 kHz RFID credentials (ASK and FSK), Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE), and NFC mobile credentials. This broad compatibility allows organizations to maintain existing credentials while gradually upgrading to more secure technologies.
For mobile access, the reader supports Rosslare’s BLE-ID™ and NFC-ID™ solutions, enabling secure facility access through smartphones.
Communication security is enhanced through SIA OSDP v2 Secure Channel Protocol (SCP) with AES 128-bit encryption. As an officially OSDP Verified reader, it ensures secure and interoperable communication with compatible access control systems.
The reader can be configured through the Rosslare BLE-Admin™ mobile app, simplifying installation and maintenance. Organizations can also create custom secure credentials using KeyCard Studio software and the CP-R27 desktop programmer.
Designed for indoor and outdoor installations, the reader combines a modern appearance with rugged construction, including antimicrobial protection, vandal resistance, and weatherproof performance.
