Bosch Offers Cash Rebate to Customers Upgrading to AutoDome

In the period from September 1 through to December 31, 2012, Bosch Security Systems rewards customers who buy an AutoDome 600 Series. Those who participate in the offer receive 300 euros refund when they replace an older surveillance camera such as the G2/G3/G4 analog dome from Bosch or equivalent competitors' cameras.

“While our popular G3 series will go out of service soon, the G5 AutoDome 600 Series was just upgraded with new features. For existing clients this promotion is a great opportunity to upgrade to the latest generation. For new clients the offer is a good entry point for experiencing the latest technological developments from Bosch,” says Karel Mulder, Marketing & Sales Manager CCTV EMEA.

Discrete and easy to install, the G5 AutoDome 600 Series is a high-speed pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) camera that is suitable for round-the-clock applications. The camera features a 1/4" CCD sensor, with 550 TV lines resolution and sensitivity to below 1.0 lux for performing in low light. For operation in the darkest conditions, these cameras automatically switch from color to monochrome for greater infrared illumination sensitivity. The shutter speed slows to as little as one second, thus increasing sensitivity by more than 50 times.

The G5 AutoDome 600 Series also contains an advanced digital signal processor that provides real-time video processing for smooth object tracking. This intelligent technology enables the camera to ignore unimportant background motion, allowing for reliable, optimized viewing. All the housings have recessed screws and latches to prevent tampering, as well as an impact-resistant polycarbonate bubble to protect against vandalism, while the outdoor pendant housings operate at temperatures as low as -40°C (-40°F). The series is therefore suited to various applications in a wide range of environments.
