Norbain has announced that it is now distributing an extensive range of Samsung IP video surveillance products, including network video recorders (NVRs) which have been designed to have the look and familiarity of a DVR whilst delivering all the benefits of an NVR.

“We are very pleased to be able to offer our customers Samsung's range of IP and network solutions, which includes megapixel and Full HD cameras, at a time when demand for Video over IP solutions is rapidly increasing,” said Billy Hopkins, Norbain's Samsung business development executive. Until recently, Samsung's strength has predominantly been in the analogue marketplace but its R&D teams have been developing an IP range over the past three years in line with the industry trend towards IP based systems. As a result they now have a comprehensive range of IP devices from cameras to recorders, and can, therefore, offer a one-stop-shop for most projects.
