Introduction



UPCOM BIES508-2F is a rugged industrial-grade, Din-Rail, layer2, Managed optical road by-pass switch that supports 6-port 10/100M Base-T(X) +2-port 100Base-FX. can be operated at wide temperatures range from -40 to 75°C. the 2 fiber ports are single-fiber bidirectional interface, which supports BY-PASS power-down straight-through function, ensures the integrity of the fiber link and improves the reliability of the overall network structure.



BIES508-2F provides some kinds of advanced network managed function, such as: MW-Ring redundancy technology (failure recovery time<20ms), VLAN, multicast, Quality of Service, Speed control, port mirroring, fault alarm and firmware remote update, also support CLI, WEB, Telnet, SNMP management, provide a user-friendly web console interface for easy configuration.



BIES508-2F adopts standard Industrial design, IP40 protection, aluminum alloy shell, support Din-rail installation, fanless design, support EMC level 4 protection, dual power DC12-48V, can meet the requirement of various Industrial automation, Intelligent Transportation System, Electric Power Industry applications.
