The Sanyo VCC-XZ400P is a high-resolution weatherproof day-night AF-zoom camera with all-in-one design with lens, housing and metal fittings. It has built-in Intelligent Digital Motion to enable reliable motion detection by analyzing movement magnitude and object size from changes in picture brightness. The following three kinds of backlight compensation are available: multi-spot photometry, five-section photometry and multi-spot masking. The camera also comes with an RS-485 connector for Sanyo Security Serial Protocol (SSP) communication. Minimum required luminance of 0.06 lux is improved by a power of 32x by amplifying gain; this allows the camera to capture video images with only 0.002 lux. Other key features include built-in electronic shutters, high-speed electronic shutters that are internally switchable (eight modes), 13-mode electronic-shutter speeds and AC-DC power.
