The Precise BioKeyboard is a combined smart card and fingerprint reader integrated in a high quality traditional keyboard. The Precise BioKeyboard eliminates the need for external devices on the desktop. It is a convenient and secure solution to use fingerprint technology based on Precise Match-on-Card to log onto systems and networks. Precise Match-on-Card is the concept of storing and matching fingerprints on a smart card. As no matching takes place outside the card, there is no need for a database and the personal integrity of the cardholder is preserved. The keyboard is equipped with one of the widely deployed flatbed silicon sensors available. The embedded smart card reader is compliant with all major international standards and interoperable with all smart cards.
