SLOC (Security Link Over Coax) is Intersil’s advanced communication technology that simultaneously transmits analog CVBS video and digital IP video over a single 500-meter RG59 coaxial cable. This technology enables megapixel IP cameras to operate in the existing CCTV coaxial cable infrastructure. Having both analog CVBS video and digital IP video in the same coaxial cable enables system integrators to architect cost-effective hybrid surveillance systems, supporting both traditional analog CCTV and megapixel IP camera products.
