The ComNet CNMCSFP/M is a single channel Ethernet converter from electrical to optical and optical to electrical. This device accepts a 10/100 or 1000 Mbps electrical input and converts this to a 100 or 1000 Mbps optical output, selected by a dip switch, and the 100/1000 Mbps optical input back to the 10/100/1000 Mbps electrical output. Auto-Negotiating is supported on the copper interface side. This device uses either one or two optical fibers, depending upon the selection of sold-separately SFP optical module. LED indicators display that the Optical Link is connected and that there is Data activity on the channel. The Plug and Play CNMCSFP/M is designed to operate in harsh industrial environments with no electrical or optical adjustments required. Power supplies are always provided with the product. The CNMCSFP/M is a Mini package, perfect for use where space is at a premium.
