The ATM/POS Bridge provides an interface between various Bosch digital recorders as well as IP video management systems, and automated teller Machines (ATM) or point-ofsale (POS) equipment, such as cash registers. This allows financial transaction data to be recorded and linked to specific camera images. Now, banking and retail sites can quickly locate video recordings associated with important financial transactions.

The integration of video and financial transaction data provides a number of benefits including:
* ATM/POS recording can obtain information about illegal transactions or fraudulent activity by customers or personnel.
* ATM/POS information can be shown in live video and also provides forensic search capabilities in playback mode.
* Fast search on parameters, such as bank card number or POS data, results in instant video information of the incident.
* By using the Bridge, other devices that provide ASCII-type data streams – such as license plate recognition devices, barcode readers or access control devices – can deliver these streams to a Bosch digital recorder or IP video management system for recording. This integration allows customers to quickly locate video recordings by intelligent search of the ASCII data.

Simple integration
The ATM/POS Bridge is simple to install. It communicates with Bosch digital recorders and IP video management systems via a standard Ethernet connection. Each bridge accepts up to four ATM/POS or other ACSII-type devices via RS-232, RS-485, or Ethernet connections.
