The 290A outdoor housing is designed especially for Axis network cameras. It provides IP66 classified protection, which offers a convenient, durable and tailor-made solution for mounting Axis network cameras outdoors and in other harsh environments. With a solid extruded-aluminum casing, outdoor-camera enclosures provide robust protection against tampering, while shielding cameras from dust and heavy rain. The housings even incorporate a temperature-controlled heating system that ensures continued camera operation in cold weather.

This tailor-made enclosure solution is compatible with the Axis 2120, Axis 2420, Axis 211, Axis 211A and Axis 221 network camera. It is weather protected from -20XC to +42XC and supplied with integral tamper-proof mounting brackets.
