The compact, aesthetically attractive camera features the installation option of bracket or dome configuration and a choice of varifocal or fixed focal lens options. Selections for camera resolution include 1.3 megapixels, 1080p, 3 megapixels and 5 megapixels; there is also a choice of color or day/night. To further enhance the camera's appeal, installation is made easier with PoE (Power over Ethernet), an integrated cable management structure and external lens adjustment capability.

The three inch ball-shaped camera is constructed of vandal-proof materials and, because of its mounting options, is ideal for any number of indoor applications. It can be simply installed using a mounting bracket or, in the dome configuration, as a surface mount or an in-ceiling mount. An optional bubble is available for the dome configuration. There are two lenses available including a 4mm lens and a 3.3 – 12mm varifocal lens.

Additional design features of the camera include a dual encoder with H.264 (MPEG Part 10) and MJPEG capability; forensic zooming; privacy mask and extended motion detection grid; flexible cropping; multi-streaming (8 non-identical streams) and bit rate control. The camera is also PSIA compliant.

Installation is made easier with PoE capability or external power (12-48V DC and 24V AC) as well as installer-friendly cable management. Once installed, the camera lens can be conveniently focused without the use of special tools.
