News First Prize National MSME Award for Quality

amriddhi Automations Pvt. Ltd. - the largest manufacturer of SPARSH brand CCTV Cameras, products and equipment has been awarded First Prize in recognition of manufacturing Outstanding Quality Products by Ministry of Micro Small & Medium Enterprises. The National Awards Ceremony was held on 18th October 2016 at Punjab Agricultural University Campus, Ludhiana. The function was presided by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India – Sh. Narendra Modi.
This National Award for the year 2013 on Quality Products in Micro & Small Enterprises in Electronic Surveillance & Security System category was recently presented by Sh. Kalraj Mishra, Union Minister of MSME to Sh. Sanjeev Sehgal, Managing Director, Samriddhi Automations Pvt Ltd. Minister of State for MSME Sh. Giriraj Singh & Minister of State for MSME Sh. HaribhaiParthibhai Chaudhary were also present during the function.
The ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises with a view to recognizing the efforts and contribution of MSMEs gives National Award annually to selected entrepreneurs and enterprises under the scheme of National Award.
The Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in India have seen a vast development in the last five decades. The MSMEs have registered tremendous growth as also progress in terms of quality production, exports, innovation, product development and import substitution. Entrepreneurial efforts have made it possible to produce number of items, which hitherto were imported. In quite a few cases new variants so produced are having additional attributes than their original versions and are capable of solving a multitude of user problems. This all has become possible owing to the ambitions and visionary spirit of entrepreneurs of MSMEs.
Government of India, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) has decided to encourage such entrepreneurs by giving National Awards for selected products in MSEs with the following objectives:
I. To encourage MSEs to produce quality products conforming to national and internationalstandards.
II. To propagate and merit a culture of quality consciousness amongst a vast section of MSE.
III. To instil a sense of confidence in MSE’s products with the domestic consumers and to enhance the image of Indian Products in export market.
IV. To motivate MSEs to achieve higher levels of competitive advantage by quality production.
Winners got Rs 3 Lakhs as Prize Money, a certificate and a trophy. Above all, The Prime Minister has permitted all the awardees to use the log of the award for all promotional activities. The winners of the awards shall have the privilege of allowing their employees to wear labels, pins, ties or other distinctive badges with the symbol of the Awards indicating the year of Award inscribed on it. The entrepreneurs can also use the symbol on their letterheads or any advertisement issued along with the year of the award.
The evaluation for Award has been done with stringent parameters and evaluation techniques, specifically designed for the purpose. The critical areas include:

? Growth rate of Annual Sales and profit of Products
? Obtaining ISO-9000 Series/14000/22000 /HACCP/GMP / equivalent certification
? Providing Services after sales
? Technology involved/Use of Technology
? Quality Assurance Techniques
? Standard of Packaging
? Standardization-Obtained BIS Mark/ International Standard /equivalent(DGQA, RDSO, GMP /BEE etc)-
? Export Growth
? Energy Conservation
? Whether any reward scheme introduced for employees for leading quality circle/productivity
? Pollution Control Measures
? Inventory Control
