To meet various demands for HD video surveillance cameras, Qihan offers a full range of HD (high definition) network cameras and HD-SDI cameras for different system applications on the market. The company's latest innovative technology includes a range of 20 km optical fibre transmission cameras with full-HD resolution and with advanced features.

The latest model, HDFDI camera QH-FB441 (high definition fibre digital interface), is coupled with a 1/2.5" progressive scan CMOS chipset that reproduces 1080P (25/30fps 2.0 megapixel) progressive video scanning, and is designed to support 1080P HD resolution plus 20 km optical fibre transmission for industry high definition video applications. The camera offers 1080P resolution for real-time display and recording. It compatible with any C/CS-mount auto iris lens for different ambient installations and applications.

As most traditional analogue HD-SDI cameras can support a maximum distance of up to 300 metres by using coaxial cables, this limits their use in most applications where distances of over 500 metres are required for an installation, and generally high quality coaxial cables have to be used with HD-SDI cameras to provide standard HD video. By using the Qihan HDFDI video output protocol and products, a 20 km ultra long transmission distance can be achieved for high definition video display and recording. The HDFDI cameras offer other features, such as lightning protection, RS485, 2DNR, HDR, multi-language operation menu and HD IR-cur filter.
