huperLab Gaia NVR Strengthening Easy Setup and Fisheye Dewarping Support

Taipei, Taiwan, November 2013 – Huper Laboratories ( known as huperLab), a leading developer of intelligent video surveillance system, and a technology innovator on 2D & 3D video analytics, video/audio codecs and streaming technologies, announced its expanding in product line-up with all-in-one Gaia NVR system. huperLab Gaia NVR, a versatile surveillance system that can manage up to 16 network cameras, is an easy-to-use and reliable megapixel IP surveillance solution that enables not only remote monitoring but real-time live local display, high resolution recording, and full HD multi-channel playback. A wide array of intelligent features, including CMS (video/event management), fisheye dewarping with ePTZ and video analytics, are available to fulfill various market demands.

One of the main challenges for NVR surveillance system is the cost and time of setting up the whole installation. Designed for solving the problems of complex installations, compared to the standalone NVR in the market, the system features several mouse clicks can complete camera setup with IP camera wizard in the Gaia NVR.

To solve the Blind Spot problems in surveillance, Gaia NVR also supports fisheye cameras that can cover wide field of view for 360° full panoramic view or 180° hemispherical view. The feature is able to unwrap video images from any fisheye cameras, and allows intuitive ePTZ control (pan/tilt/zoom) that can focus on a region of interest (ROI) easily.

Taking full advantage of dual-stream and video decoding technologies, the system delivers real-time live monitoring and playback up to 1080p resolution. Its dual-stream networking facilitates different streaming modes for smooth remote monitoring and playback to fulfill varied surveillance scenarios and multiple megapixel camera requirements.

When it comes to the safe data storage, its SeamlessCloud feature further enables zero loss megapixel video data transfer to cloud storage on a 24/7 basis of operation. Available with huperLab’s self-developed and patent granted video analytics, Gaia NVR becomes a perfect fit for different vertical applications
