AVerMedia Information, a supplier of digital security surveillance equipment, provided its 3-G live traffic surveillance solution Traffic in the Pocket for Northern Cyprus, Turkey. The solution integrates with an AVerDiGi EB1304ENT SATA four-channel network DVR and Vodafone Mobile 3-G service.

The Traffic in the Pocket solution allowed an unlimited number of subscribers to monitor traffic conditions simultaneously from their mobile phones. The images are collected from the AVerDiGi DVRs to the AVerDiGi CM3000 central management system over a 3-G network.

“With high performance and stability, the AVerDiGi EB1304NET SATA has been chosen for high quality image transfer over 3-G networks, which is exactly what we were looking for,” said Ayhan Aliusta, Chief Core Network Engineer of Vodafone.

The compact DVR packs complete functions, providing crystal-clear video with 60 fps at D1 recording. It integrates comprehensive remote access with easy mobile access with PDAViewer or JavaViewer, along with efficient client software such as WebViewer and Remote Console. The CMS, CM3000 and CM3000 Gold, connects up to 1,000 DVRs.

“Considering the fact that this is the first time in the world where DVR feeds are collected at a monitoring center over a 3-G network, and selective feeds are broadcast over 3-G service to unlimited number of simultaneous viewers, we would like to appreciate AVerMedia Information for its creativity and versatility as well as product quality,” Aliusta said.
