Honeywell Video Systems Names New Vice President

Honeywell announced Scott Harkins was promoted to vice president and general manager of Honeywell's Video Systems business, which provides a wide array of video surveillance technology used to protect facilities around the world.


Harkins will oversee the global video systems operations, which includes North America, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America. Working closely with distributors, dealers and integrators, the company provides innovative security solutions – including the latest in IP systems, video analytics and specification tools – that meet the video surveillance needs of a diverse range of customers.

In his new role, Harkins will report to Ben Cornett, President of Honeywell Security and Data Collection. "Scott is committed to excellence and is one of the most inspirational leaders I know. Harkins has extensive experience in Honeywell's video security and surveillance systems. He joined the company in 1995 and has held various positions of increasing responsibility, most recently serving as the Director of sales since 2002. He brings more than 20 years of industry experience to his new role. Harkins will relocate to Louisville, where Honeywell Security & Data Collection is headquartered.
