Verisure, the world's leading provider of professionally monitored security services by customers served, is expanding the international rollout of its AI-powered GuardVision Outdoor video detector, bringing advanced outdoor protection and earlier threat detection to more customers. The device is now available to customers in 12 markets and offers customers the opportunity to bolster their home protection.

The GuardVision Outdoor video detector is the world's first EN50131 Grade 2-certified device with embedded Computer Vision AI. Fully integrated into the Verisure home alarm system, it helps detect the earliest signs of a threat outside the home.

The solution is already delivering measurable results in limiting the likelihood of a home intrusion. New data from some of Verisure's largest markets highlights the value of proactive protection, showing that its outdoor security solutions can help prevent more than half of detected intrusion attempts.

Austin Lally, Verisure CEO, said: "GuardVision Outdoor video detector is a strong example of how we are using AI to extend protection beyond the home, detect potential threats earlier and support faster intervention when it matters most. What differentiates Verisure is not technology alone, but how we combine proprietary AI, data from trillions of interactions and alarm signals, deep security experience, 24/7 professional monitoring and human expertise into a single integrated service to protect our customers better. As we continue to invest in innovation, we believe AI will further strengthen our ability to protect customers and reinforce our leadership in professionally monitored security."

A Red Dot Design Award winner, the GuardVision Outdoor video detector provides protection night and day outside of the property. It uses HD video with infrared night vision, image capture, two-way audio, and AI tools that can distinguish between human and non-human triggers to support Verisure's 24/7 human-monitored Alarm Receiving Centre with improved verification and intervention.

The GuardVision Outdoor video detector is now available in 12 of Verisure's 18 markets: France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Belgium, and Germany. Norway is scheduled to launch next month, while Mexico, the Netherlands and the UK are planned for rollout next year.
