The 2026 Taiwan Artificial Intelligence Forum and Awards Ceremony concludes successfully

The 2026 Artificial Intelligence Technology and Smart Applications Forum and Awards Ceremony, held concurrently with the 2026 Taipei International Security Technology Exhibition (Secutech 2026), concluded successfully from April 22nd to 24th. The three-day event, co-organized by the Taiwan Artificial Intelligence Association (TAIA) and Messe Frankfurt Taiwan, attracted a large audience, showcasing Taiwan's strong artificial intelligence capabilities and innovation.
 
Three forums explored trends in artificial intelligence technology and applications. The event, themed "Realizing Artificial Intelligence, Innovating Artificial Intelligence – Leading a New Era of Smart Applications," featured three main forums, with the first on April 22nd:
 

• The Artificial Intelligence Technology and Smart Applications Forum & 2026 Artificial Intelligence Awards Ceremony

 
The opening forum focused on the development of artificial intelligence technology, the artificial intelligence governance framework, the evolving "Artificial Intelligence Fundamental Law," ESG sustainability, and industry practices. The Artificial Intelligence Awards Ceremony recognizes companies that have made outstanding contributions to artificial intelligence technology and innovative applications, and promotes cooperation between domestic and international companies.
 
April 23:

• AIoT-Driven Vertical Market Applications – From Standards and Edge Security to Cloud Services

 
This session explored how AIoT technology drives vertical market applications, covering the entire ecosystem from standards development and edge security to cloud service architecture.
 
April 24:

• Artificial Intelligence × Computer Vision Empowering Smart Manufacturing – Building a New Engine for Cost Reduction and Efficiency Improvement

 
This forum provided an in-depth analysis of the application of artificial intelligence vision technology in smart manufacturing and demonstrated how artificial intelligence can help smart factories achieve their goals of cost reduction and efficiency improvement. In addition to recognizing domestic enterprises and professionals, AI AWARD also presents the International Innovation Solutions Award to recognize leading global companies. The 2026 AI Award – International Innovation Solutions category will be awarded to six leading global technology companies in recognition of their groundbreaking artificial intelligence solutions:
