AMG Systems has announced the release of the AMG840 Series Network Server Appliance, a high‑performance 1U rack‑mount platform designed for advanced network monitoring, critical infrastructure, and security‑led applications.

Engineered in the UK and USA and manufactured in the UK, the AMG840 Series is purpose-built to support AMG Net-Hawk, AMG’s network monitoring and management platform. The appliance is also available in entry-level configurations, enabling system integrators and end users to deploy custom operating systems, storage, and applications.

Tom Exley, AMG Technical Director, details “the AMG840 Series supports Intel® 12th and 13th generation Core™ processors, including i3, i5, i7, i9, and Celeron options, and up to 64GB DDR4 memory. High‑speed connectivity is delivered via six 2.5Gb RJ45 ports and four 10Gb SFP+ ports, enabling deployment in high‑bandwidth environments such as transportation networks, utilities, public safety systems, enterprise security, and industrial infrastructure.”

Designed for continuous operation, the platform features dual redundant, hot-swappable power supplies, commercial-grade operating temperatures from 0°C to +50°C, and a robust metal chassis designed for 19-inch, 1U rack installation. The system supports Windows and Linux operating systems and meets key compliance requirements, including NDAA and TAA.
Pre‑configured AMG840 models are available with AMG Net‑Hawk software pre‑installed, enabling rapid deployment and reduced integration time, while entry-level models provide maximum flexibility for specialist applications.
