A major petrochemical company established its new headquarters in Taipei, connecting multiple high-rise buildings. With over five thousand employees, identity verification is required for main door and elevator access. Due to the number of employees, relying on traditional access cards could lead to long lines. The company's goal is to provide an intelligent access control system, prioritizing both security and efficiency by incorporating highly accurate automatic facial recognition technology, allowing employees to clock in as they enter the building.

With access control in multiple buildings and several floors, the daily demand on identity verification is in the ten's of thousands, with significant peaks during commute hours and lunch breaks. The system must be capable of simultaneously processing large volumes of images.

Identity verification must be successful under varying conditions such as wide angles, long distances, movement, and wearing of facial masks.

Our solution

The FaceMe Security facial recognition solution is used to support a total of approximately 250 IP cameras. The facial recognition server utilizes an NVIDIA RTX A6000 graphics card, accelerating the AI computing to enable simultaneous facial recognition for multiple employees.
