Xenics and Pro-Lite Technology France sign partnership agreement

Xenics, Europe’s leading developer and manufacturer in the world of advanced infrared imaging solutions, cameras and customized solutions, has signed a nonexclusive distribution agreement with French distributor Pro-Lite Technology for the Safety & Security market in France. The agreement came into force on 9th November 2020.

Products covered by the Xenics - Pro-Lite Technology distribution and partnership agreement include the full Xenics camera line-up. From the new top of the line Manx R and SQ series, Wildcat 640 series in the SWIR spectrum, all the way to the new Dione 640 CAM & OEM series in the LWIR spectrum.

The overall strategy of the Xenics – Pro-Lite Technology partnership is to add commercial value tocustomers through a streamlined sales and service channel. This will provide access to a family of SWIR, MWIR and LWIR imaging systems tailored to the market in France. For Xenics, the agreement is another step of broadening its market position by relying on Pro-Lite Technology’s established user base of surveillance systems as well as commercial and homeland security applications.

Pro-Lite Technology supplies specialist equipment and services in several areas of photonics including spectral imaging & spectroscopy, remote sensing and nano-positioning. With a strong technical focus and historic background in the defence and security markets, Pro-Lite Technology France is excited to bring its local presence and energy to help developing new sales opportunities with Xenics.

The wide range of high-performance cameras covered by the agreement also opens new horizons in various markets, with a great purpose to improve and emphasize the specific needs of potential users in the region. For example, the Manx is currently the World’s fastest line-scan camera and the Xenics SWIR Bobcat series has a long service history, being a proven and reliable area-scan camera with a wide user base. Not forgetting, the new Xenics Wildcat 640 series is known for its versatility. It offers users a new optimized SWIR solution designed with combined advantages of a small-sized camera, high-speed operation, high sensitivity and a high dynamic range. Finally, the recently released Dione 640 CAM & OEM SWaP LWIR series combines enhanced image processing with a low power consumption.
