After a successful installation of a total of 100 IP based surveillance cameras were installed in Gulshan, Baridhara and Niketan in Bangladesh in 2015 with an aim to tighten surveillance in the neighborhoods, the members of Law & Order Control committee (L.O.C.C.) and Government was very much satisfied with the system. The main control room is monitored by Gulshan Police Thana, and LILIN camera systems helped so much the Law Enforcement authorities to resolve many complicated cases.

The main challenge of this project was to deploy the systems in 10km widespread area, however, after successful investigation of a murder case by using the LILIN video surveillance systems, the authority wanted to spread out the same LILIN system in other areas in Bangladesh. The customer contacted AA Technology (distributor partner of LILIN in Bangladesh) and ordered to add 500 more IP cameras, number plate recognition system, as well as upgrade the previous NVR based systems to VMS Navigator platform to secure areas of Abdullaphur, Gabtoli, Mohahali, Firmgate, Kawranbazar, Rampura and Tezgaon.

The updated system has ensured security of the Diplomatic area. Citizens are happy and felling safe here. According to Law Enforcing Authority, crimes have been decreased than previous in noticeable rate. By deployment of Bangla Automatic Number Plate Recognition System, all the vehicles moving are being registered automatically and also being possible to track suspicious or black lists. New Panic Button System is helping citizens to interact with Police once they required.
