APM Targets Thailand by Designing and Manufacturing Auto Gate Systems

Lee Kok Hai Burt, Sales Director for APM Global explained why the company started to look at the Thai market. He said that APM is a Singaporean company, focusing on manufacturing auto gates, and distributing anti-terrorism equipment and car park systems. The company just established their brand in 2013, but it has years of experience in doing OEM. APM has key technologies in designing and manufacturing their systems, from precision engineering machineries to circuit design. To lower the total cost in shipping and after-sales maintenance, APM manufactures the machineries and assembles the whole systems in Thailand. They would like to do local manufacturing and then sell them locally to systems integrators. Strictly following the company’s policy in quality assurance and quality control, the company will make sure that they can provide high-quality systems even though manufacturing is done locally. According to the company, even competing with Chinese companies, APM products are still very cost-competitive and definitely carry higher quality, based on the Singaporean quality and technology. The company has a solid business base in Singapore and would like to expand to overseas countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, and Indonesia. The biggest potential for APM is in commercial buildings, data centers, banks, schools, factories, condominiums, etc.
