“Access control should be able to do more than just controlling who comes in and out of the door. Hundure is all about optimizing access control’s role, making it the key to more energy-efficient buildings,” said Tom Su, Manager, Overseas Sales Division, Hundure Technology.

Illustrated with an example, Su said “classrooms, labs, and dorms, are all facilities on a campus where energy can be greatly wasted if students leave air conditioner or lights on not for studying, but for playing cards or when no one is occupying the room. If integrating access control with power saving solution, AC, lights, and projectors can only be used during the pre-set time slots or by authorized persons.”

Nowadays, whether it is a case for government project or factories, there will for sure be some level of subsystem integration involved. “It all comes down to one thing — users want an easy interface to control multiple systems for maximum security,” said Su.

“We integrate access control, time attendance, parking, elevator control system and biometric applications with single platform. These are basic functions to Hundure solutions. In many projects, we also integrated surveillance cameras, NVR, meal service solution, meeting room booking system, visitor management, fire detector & alarm system, one card service, and many more.”

For localization applications, Hundure also offer friendly SDK for customers to develop their software for their local project requirements.

Su pointed out that smart phone applications are getting more common. Hence, Hundure is also developing bluetooth or NFC application that can apply access control system to smart phone.
