CenturyLink appoints Ras Scollay as Sales Director for Southeast Asia

CenturyLink Technology Solutions announced the appointment of Ras Scollay as sales director for its Southeast Asia operations.

Based in Singapore, Scollay is charged with driving overall business strategy and enterprise customer growth within the region for CenturyLink Technology Solutions, which formerly operated under the name Savvis. He brings 18 years of experience to the role and has worked in the IT and telecommunications industry in Europe, Asia, and Australia.

"Ras is an undisputed expert in cloud technologies, and we are pleased to have him on the leadership team to drive optimum deployment of cloud, data centers, and networks for our enterprise customers in Southeast Asia," said Gery Messer, MD, Asia Pacific, at CenturyLink Technology Solutions.

The appointment follows a series of strategic moves by CenturyLink to strengthen its portfolio of cloud, managed services, and colocation solutions for enterprises. This includes the acquisition of Tier 3, which is known for its capability in managing complex workflows as a cloud service in a unified management interface.
