Malaysian luxury condo Astaka project finished by 2017

Half of the units in Malaysia’s soon-to-be tallest residential tower have already been sold, while another 20% is finalizing paperwork, according to AsiaOne. The Astaka is a mixed-use development complex that comprises two residential towers (one 65-floor and another 70-floor), office towers, a shopping mall and a hotel; commenced in June, 2013, the twin towers are expected to be completed by 2017. The towers will house 438 luxury apartments.

Astaka Padu, the developer, is selling each residential unit for USD$620,000 to $2.6 million. Each floor will house 4 units, which will be between 2,207 to 5,408 square feet. The projected gross development value of The Astaka will be more than $300 million. The project’s contractor is the Penta Ocean Construction Company.
