The ABUS "Basic Line" offers professional video installers cameras and complementary components with an excellent price-performance ratio for a variety of basic applications. In order to meet the high demand especially in this segment, six new models have been added – not only in classic tube design, but also in modern ball dome design.

The professional ABUS video range is divided into three product lines: The "Basic Line" meets the basic requirements of video projects and scores with its price-performance ratio. The "Advanced Line" meets high demands. The "Special Line" is available for special applications. In the popular "Basic Line", ABUS now offers its customers six additional camera models.

On the one hand, three new dome cameras in 2, 4 and 8 megapixel resolution complement the range. Their innovative design is particularly striking: In the ball dome design, the light sensor and IR LED are placed parallel to each other, similar to a pair of eyes. IR reflections can thus be practically eliminated and they also have a high IR output with a range of up to 30 metres. They are particularly suitable for indoor and outdoor applications where large areas or areas from great heights need to be observed with little illumination.

On the other hand, three new tube cameras are available, also in different resolutions (2, 4 and 8 megapixels) and thus flexible in installation and individually adaptable to customer requirements. Furthermore, they score with an IR performance of up to 50 meters.

All six new models in weatherproof IP67 housings are compatible with the wAppLoxx electronic access control system and the Secvest wireless alarm system and enable internal data storage thanks to a microSD card slot.

"Our Basic Line range has been very well received by installers and end customers," says Stuart Parris, Head of Business Management Video at ABUS Security Center. "These six new additions with fixed lenses complement our existing product range perfectly – and have a very attractive price-performance ratio.”
