Three well-known American lock manufacturers: Schlage, Kwikset, and Yale, form partnership with smart home solution provider, Clare Controls.

By adding them into its own solutions, the Florida-based Smart home solution provider resells Schlage and Kwikset’s Z-wave door locks in addition to Yale’s hardware throughout the rest of the home.

Moreover, the installation of Z-wave door locks is simplified by ClareHome App. After powering up and pairing the lock with the app, the onscreen instructions will guild users to replace the existing door lock and configure personalized pin codes step by step.

Upon deployed, the ClareHome App will automatically recognize the lock and provide remote access with two-way communications. As a result, users will receive notification about whether the door is locked, and could lock or unlock it via the app even if they are away from home.

This effort is part of the Clare and Simple Builder Program, which aims at gaping the technical gaps between different manufacturers in the diverse smart home community. By making those manufacturers relevant, Clare Controls intends to meet the demand of national builders.

“The demand for secure entry control continues to rise,” said Brett Price, CEO, Clare Controls. “Door locks are one of the most popular consumer add-ons available from myClareHome. Schlage, Kwikset, and Yale are top brands in the category; offering all three brands provides Clare customers with a quality experience in a variety of designs.”
