Z-Wave Europe, the European distributor for Z-Wave based wireless home automation, is set to prevent a variety of new devices including remote control and food sensor at CeBIT 2017.

At this year’s CeBIT show in Hannover from March 20-24, Z-Wave Europe’s booth will be located in the Planet Reseller area under the umbrella of International Communication Park (ICP).

Z-Wave compatible devices including leading Smart Home brand FIBARO will be presented. The new Fibaro KeyFOB will be displayed officially for the first time on a trade fair in Germany. The KeyFOB is a unique 6-button remote control which allows users to control devices and scenes in the connected home.

Manufacturer Popp will also announce two new products at the Z-Wave booth: a keypad and a flood sensor.

The keypad is made for access control. It can open door locks and activate or deactivate alarm systems via PIN code. There have been no other comparable Z-Wave devices in the market. The new flood sensor can detect water leakages and damages and comes up with a probe extension, which is easy to install and lets users control areas that are difficult to reach, like under the washing machine.

Another exhibitor is Z-Wave.Me, which integrate Amazon Echo voice control with Z-Way smart home software. Z-Way is used for various smart home gateways, among them Popp HUB, My Cloud by Western Digital (WD) and RaZberry for Raspberry Pi.
