MitraStar Technology provides home multimedia solutions including gateway, STB and cloud storage

MitraStar Technology is a spin-off from ZyXEL Communications Corp, which has over 20 years in experience in supplying networking products and solutions to small- and medium-sized businesses. Both companies are completely owned by Unizyx and have a collaborative business relationship.

Since the spin-off in 2011, MitraStar has focused on product development and technology innovations, while ZyXEL has focused on branding. MitraStars main product lines include mobile broadband CPE, fixed broadband CPE, fiber broadband CPE, broadband access, and multimedia applications. The company exports its products mainly to Europe, North America, and Asia. MitraStar is also an active player in the smart home with its home multimedia solutions that currently include multimedia gateways, set-top boxes and cloud storage.
