AT&T Portables, one of the fastest growing authorized AT&T retail partners in the country, has announced it’s adoption of Envysion Managed Video Solution to help strengthen employee training, enhance customer service, and bolster loss prevention efforts in support of continued business growth.

The company owns and operates 45 stores across the Mid-Atlantic and Tennessee Valley and has turned to Envysion to equip its executive leadership with complete audio and video coverage in each store. Envysion Managed Video Solution conveniently integrates with the company’s existing point-of-sale and other systems for maximum visibility and agility.

Traditionally, the company’s district managers oversee as many as eight stores each, but had to travel all over the territory to visit stores in person, which minimized the time they can spend at each location to personally observe, engage employees, coach and train.

“Every minute a manager spends in the car traveling is a minute they’re not spending in the store with the staff trying to maximize sales, minimize downtime, and improve the in-store experience for customers and employees alike. Envysion’s cloud-based Managed Video Solution empowers our entire managerial team to implement and oversee sales, operations, and training strategies in each store across a five-state territory while also keeping a watchful eye on in-store activities to help minimize loss from theft, fraud, or other schemes. And they can do it from virtually anywhere,” said Attique Rasheed Director of Sales Operations at AT&T Portables.

With Envysion, it’s easier for store and district managers to understand the true nature of sales conversations, gain insight into downtime activities, and deter theft or fraud without being overly invasive or making staff feel like they’re not trusted.

“In the past, we’d coach while transaction was taking place or just come in afterward and ask what went wrong. But that’s not really coaching, it’s doing their jobs for them which makes them weaker and doesn’t actually teach them how we can improve as a company. With Envysion’s video and audio capabilities, we can sit with an employee and have a conversation about what they can do better during the sales process. Without Envysion, there’s no way to know where our teams are struggling or how to properly address shortcomings,” said Elfan Muñoz AT&T Portable’s Director of Sales
