Fiorella Rubino is part of the Miroglio Group, an Italian industrial company operating since 1947 in textiles and in fashion. Miroglio Fashion is responsible for the creation and selling of 11 women’s fashion brands distributed worldwide throughout a network of 1,188 mono-brand retail stores and 2,400 trade clients with multi-brand stores and a significant presence in the most important international department stores.
Customer challenge
Miroglio Fashion’s main challenge was how to use technology to provide their customers a richer, more complete shopping experience and increase and improve the efficiency of their stores. The RFID roll-out at Fiorella Rubino is part of Miroglio’s Retail 4.0 initiative aimed at improving the overall retail efficiency.
Nedap Solution
For the 170 stores of the Fiorella Rubino brand,
Nedap delivers its iD Top overhead reader in collaboration with Temera. Temera supplies its modular TMR Core software platform that enables RFID-based product tracking throughout the supply chain – from production to POS – to raise the retailer’s stock accuracy and enable omnichannel.
In the stores, Nedap’s
iD Top is used at the store exit to identify any unpaid item that is leaving the store. When an RFID label is read by the iD Top, the data is shared directly with the TMR Core platform through open API’s.
