EyeLock, a provider of iris-based identity authentication solutions, announced that it has received Lenel factory certification and joined the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program (OAAP). The EyeLock Identity Suite interfaces with the OnGuard system, making it possible to enable and significantly accelerate the onboarding of iris-based identity authentication technology.

“EyeLock has completed required factory testing at Lenel to validate the functionality of its interface to OnGuard,” said Zach Roth, OAAP Product Manager at Lenel. “In addition to speeding up the onboarding process by eliminating dual-data entry for our mutual customers, this interface enables intelligent onboard memory management within the iris readers. Utilizing an individual’s access control permissions, the system is able to determine and distribute iris templates only to doors which are necessary. We look forward to EyeLock’s continued involvement in the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program.”

“The Lenel factory certification is an important step forward for simplifying the implementation of iris biometrics across access control environments and helps accelerate the worldwide adoption of our proprietary biometric technology,” said Anthony Antolino, Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer at EyeLock.

EyeLock’s proprietary technology provides an unprecedented level of convenience, accuracy, and security, making it the most proven way to authenticate identity aside from DNA. EyeLock is one of the only biometric companies in the world to own and control the entire software and algorithm stack, providing dual-eye authentication, an unmatched security architecture, and anti-spoofing technology.
