During the “Salone del Gusto 2016”, the most important international event dedicated to the culture of food that will take place in Turin from the 22nd to the 26th of September, there will be a new special ingredient: the security of Axis Communications’ cameras.

The company, global market leader in network video, will be present with its Solution Gold Partner RPS from Alba - leader in the automations and security market for over 30 years covering the whole area of the province of Cuneo - to control the accesses and to supervise the entries to the area of Valentino Park: the core of the exhibition for this year, location of the real market where there will be stands and stalls of producers from all around the world.

Indeed the Salone del Gusto exhibition moved to the heart of Turin for the first time, leaving the trade fair centre, and to guarantee the maximum safety for the people and a full enjoyment of the event a proper control room has been set up in Valentino Park, from where workers from security force, in collaboration with the organisers, will guard the areas of the open-air market relying on the quality of Axis’ network cameras’ images.

Especially the areas where the access points are located will be controlled by AXIS P3214-VE network camera, a streamlined, vandal-resistant and outdoor-ready fixed dome. AXIS P3214-VE is a weather-resistant and IK10 impact-resistant camera designed for easy and reliable installation. It features a varifocal lens, P-iris control and Day&Night functionality. The camera has also high capacity for video streaming and analytics, while the remote zoom and focus eliminate the need for manual interventions to regulate the camera.

A complete solution that allows achieving the goals prearranged by the organizers to let enjoy the most awaited event by gourmet enthusiasts in all safety.
