Hi Sharp, a Taiwan manufacturer, spoke with a&s about their featured products at Secutech 2016. Taking up 30% of their market share, Hi Sharp presented their security products for car applications at the show, which attracted many visitors to their booth. The car safety system consists of not only car cameras, mobile DVRs, but also LCD screens.

Established in 1987, the company is recognized for video surveillance, providing a wide variety of high quality and cost effective products. With the fierce competition in the security industry in recent years, Max Chen, Marketing Manager at Hi Sharp explains how they stay on top. “Apart from reliable quality, and maintaining a good after sales service, we also have a product series that gives users up to five years warranty – the Titanium series,” Chen said. The products are 100% made in Taiwan, as well as IP 68 dust and water resistant. Moreover, having been in the industry for nearly 20 years, their reputation and functionality as a one-stop-shop is also an advantage that they have to attract end users.

Being a strong provider for surveillance hardware, Hi Sharp is looking to focus more on software as the IoT trend continues to grow, such as VMS for car applications. In the meantime, the company is happy to customize for customer projects if required.
