Cities around the world rely on surveillance systems to help fight crime and protect its citizens acting as to deter and detect. IP based video is the ideal solution to help reduce crime and vandalism and enhance city value. Located in south east in the Philippines, the city of Malabon is home to over 350,000 residents. Malabon city upgraded its city-wide surveillance systems to an IP based cameras and recorder consist of LILIN NAV1072 server recorder, IPS4308 PTZs, and IPR7428 outdoor infrared bullet cameras.

The solution was connected to the enterprise level 72-channal recorder, NVR1072. A 72-channel option was selected for further expansion plans since there is over 25 blocks in the Malabon downtown area. The 18 units of IPS4308 vandal-proof PTZs used a wall mount at the corner of themost prominent of intersection utility poles, and the 10 units of weather-proof IP IR bullet cameras IPR7428 were mounted along the vertical walls of buildings so that they were easily to view the streets.
