As a dedicated partner to education, Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video Products announced the availability of a new program specially designed for K-12 schools and higher education institutions, many of which are looking for affordable, easy to manage and comprehensive IP video surveillance options for their security initiatives.

Public or private K-12 institutions, universities, and community colleges are all eligible for the Toshiba Video Surveillance Program to help them purchase, implement, and manage an easy-to-use and feature-rich Toshiba solution to meet their needs.

"The threat of violence, vandalism, and burglary are a reality in today's schools, as are reduced budgets for security," said Greg Hartzell, Director of Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video Products. "Our new Toshiba Surveillance Education Program is crafted to overcome budget constraints. It offers institutions far more than just special pricing on Toshiba cameras, accessories, software, and recorders; it is a complete solution including long term benefits aimed at providing committed support and controlling total cost of ownership. The program includes on-going alerting, systems reporting, and Toshiba engineer support, without incurring additional costs."

IP video surveillance technology is evolving at an exponential pace, and Toshiba is committed to an end-to-end approach to helping educational institutions solve their security challenges through tools and services that help maximize their budgets and focus on safeguarding students, staff, and property.
