Prime Intelligence Agency of Bangladesh Increase Security With LILIN IP Surveillance System

Background
The Special Branch (SB) is the prime intelligence agency of Bangladesh. It is the only intelligence outfit of Bangladesh which works on all strategic, operational, and tactical levels. A bomb was thrown in the SB headquarters premises situated in Malibagh, Dhaka, Bangladesh, during a strike going on throughout the country. The existing analog video surveillance system they were utilizing was incapable of finding the culprit. SB authorities therefore turned to a partner of Merit LILIN, AA Technology , a professional video surveillance solution provider in Bangladesh, for upgrade to a high resolution IP surveillance system. AA Technology showed the SB security team LILIN’s IP surveillance system. The security team was pleased with the system and therefore decided to deploy it at SB.

Solution
All cameras are being monitored and controlled 24/7 from three different locations using LILIN’s NAV client, and all video data is recorded for 30 days in LILIN’s NVR using WD’s surveillance hard-disk. Twenty-four hour uninterrupted power supply has been ensured with the use of Elsy True Online UPS system. The main gate of the SB headquarters in Malibah, Dhaka, has been covered by 20X Full HD PTZ camera IPS4204E, and the whole branch has been secured using LILIN’s Full HD IP-based bullet cameras LR7022.
