The app's new user profile management feature allows for user-customized profiles to be generated, enabling installers to create service packs for tiered levels of paid for services for their end-user customers. This feature enables installers to decide what the user can and cannot see, including the features an end-user can have access to at any particular time, i.e. set & unset, visual verification, automation, etc. Using this feature, installers can protect their revenue against abuse, and manage exactly how they upsell a basic panel installation to one that benefits from the enhanced functionality offered by iRISCO cloud services.

The new version of the iRISCO app also comes with enhanced system operations – where users can now navigate the app during alarms without the need to re-arm or disarm the system. Images and video can also be zoomed-in, viewed to fit the screen and rotated to landscape mode for more flexible viewing. The app's multi-panel support feature has also improved to enable control of up to 15 panels instead of 5 panels in previous versions.

Introducing FreeControl

Released alongside the iRISCO update, RISCO's new FreeControl App allows installation companies to offer the iRISCO service whilst promoting and strengthening their brand at the same time. FreeControl's functions are identical to those of iRISCO version 4.2.2, the big difference being that installers are invited to customise the appearance of the app by applying their own logo and changing themes to match their own corporate color schemes; thus completely removing any mention of the RISCO brand by replacing it with their own.
