American fast food franchise, Burger King, recently deployed a smart video surveillance and security system in nine restaurants throughout Russia to effectively manage cash registers, client areas and outdoor premises. Axxonsoft's long-time partner, Avanttech installed the system based on Axxon's POS.

The global fast food chain opened its first restaurant in Miami in 1954, and its first restaurant in Russia in 2010. The company recently decided to equip its restaurants with a smart surveillance system, and has deployed it in seven fast food chains in Moscow, one in Smolensk, and another in Yaroslavl Region. Burger Kings has future plans of rolling out the new system at all its new stores in Russia.

Avanttech chose the POS as the core software for the system. The installer evaluated the site's vulnerability to develop the appropriate response, and selected the video surveillance and access control equipments for installment. The software's features enabled Burger Kings to remotely monitor the restaurants from any part of the world, while performing the tasks of analyzing and cross-checking receipts, identifying suspicious cashier transactions and more.
