US family-owned retailer manages 215 shops with cloud intelligence

National Stores (NS), a US family-owned company that operates stores under the Fallas Paredes, Fallas Discount Stores, Fallas Kid Stores and Factory 2U brands, is in the process of deploying Envysion cloud-intelligence platform in more than 215 of its stores to improve loss prevention and store profitability. According to Envysion, the retailer is half way through installations.

"When we began evaluating business intelligence solutions, we were in the unique position of building a video and exception reporting strategy from scratch,” said Tom Arigi, Senior VP of Loss Prevention at National Stores. “We had the advantage of being able to take our time finding an advanced solution that would create success in our company-wide LP initiative while fitting within our operating environment.”

NS chose Envysion's video-driven business intelligence, which integrates store data, such as POS, to video. The platform provides retail operators with a variety of insights enabling retailers to understand the real story behind the numbers and to identify and curtail fraudulent transactions. In addition to strengthening loss prevention efforts, Envysion provides access and visibility into the day-to-day store operations.
